Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 May 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Halo apps and website (the “Service”) provided by Cameron Haghighat (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
The Service
Halo is an AI writing assistant that helps you rewrite, generate, and research text. Free features are available at no cost subject to daily limits; additional features require a paid subscription (“Halo Pro”).
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
Subscriptions and billing
- Halo Pro is billed on a recurring basis (currently US$10 per month) and renews automatically until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Applicable taxes are handled at checkout.
- You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change with notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaking the law, infringing others’ rights, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or using it to generate harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
Your content
You retain ownership of the text you submit and the results you generate. You grant us a limited right to process your text solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for how you use generated output.
AI output
AI-generated results may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or publishing it. The Service is provided for general assistance and is not professional advice.
Intellectual property
The Service, including the apps, website, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or software beyond normal use of the Service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with the law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
